I am a 28 year old with a good head on my shoulders. I love the great outdoors, but especially the Beach!! If Im around water, Im having a good time. I enjoy running. I ran my first marathon in December. But as I was doing that I realized I don't love running THAT much. Guess I'll stick to the shorter races. That's a long time to be inside your own head. My goal for this year is to start training for a sprint triathalon.

Any time I can be outside I am happy. Of course I am a big wuss when it comes to the cold though. I am from Upstate NY, but I don't live there any more so I don't want to be cold. That being said I have made the attempt at learning how to snow board. (Work in Progress)

I grew up here in Greenville, went to college in Kansas City, and wound up back here because I was homesick. Now I'm feeling a bit "stuck" because Greenville is conservative and I am far from it, but alas, it is my hometown, and it has its certain loveliness.
I currently live at home, as in, with my parents, because it was either rent an apartment or have a car payment. I chose car. It would sure suck to have an apartment and never be able to leave. Thankfully I get along with my parents very well...they are awesome and very laid back. They treat me as an equal, not like an extended teenager. So it's a pretty chill situation.
I'm a creative type, a "sad and deep" type, a thinker. I'm artsy. I'm vegetarian. I love cats...if you don't like cats or you're allergic, we probably won't get along. I do all sorts of creative things like knitting hats and drawing weird stuff and sewing costumes and collecting vinyl records.
I have a mild (okay, serious) obsession with clothes...I've definitely got a style to myself that I'm proud of. I'm not vain, but I enjoy dressing up and feeling good about it. Most of what I wear comes from thrift stores and discount shops.
My parents are pretty lackadaisical towards religion (a bit unusual here in the Bible Belt), so I never went to church as a child and I don't go now, nor do I intend to. I'm a firm Agnostic. I consider myself "spiritual, but not religious." I do not want or need to be proselytized to, so if we can't see eye to eye on this very basic principal, please, do us both a favor and pass me by.
As far as politics go, I'll admit that I'm pretty ill-informed. For the most part I consider myself liberal, when I know what I'm talking about. I try to educate myself about such things, but I don't know which sources are trustworthy and which are not. Everyone thinks everyone else is lying. I mostly stay out of the way.
I'm not into sports. At all. The only sport I can or want to play is badminton. I do not watch football. I will not watch football.
I love being outdoors. Camping, swimming, taking walks...I get painfully exerted very easily so biking and intense hiking are kind of tough for me :( I don't like winter. Cold is no good.
I drink occasionally and enjoy it, but for the most part I consider it a waste of money. I like going out, but not where it's loud and you have to shout to have a conversation. I prefer more laid back situations...however I do love shows/concerts.
My job does random drug tests, and I value my job, so drugs are a no-no. What you do in your own personal time is your own business, but I'm not interested in anyone whose life revolves around their next fix, no matter what the vice.

This is me! Life is filled with twists and turns and this turn has landed me back in the dating pool. Since I don't do one night stands with sleazy men at bars and I'm sick of getting hit on by the same weirdos at barnes and noble for the past 5 years, here I am. SO anyway, I am completely awesome. I am one of the few single females out here that have no children, never been married, have a great job, my own place, car, money, you name it, I have it! I take care of my business. I'm not nosy, I'm just by nature an inquisitive and curious person. Oftentimes with excitement comes drama. No fear, I am well equipped to handle such circumstances. My family consists of four children (40, 39, 37 & 32 yrs old) and two grandchildren. Over the years, I never thought about myself, but always what the kids wanted or needed. Today they are leading their own lives, and now I have to start learning how to live with them without being "Dad". It has been a "Fire and fall back" experience for me to say the least.

Well I'm a hard working guy that really doesn't get to meet a lot of new people because of my work shift being during the night. I work four 10 hour days during the week and sometimes have to work overtime. I'm at a point in my life where I would really like to find someone to try a meaningful relationship with.

I have played volleyball since before I was born! (My mom played while she was pregnant with me!) First of all, my user name is based off of me being a huge NIN fan and the fact that I drive a wagon which is a "long ride". I wish I could change it but I guess that's not allowed...

I'm a down to earth guy that is not consumed by sports, in fact I can't tell you the last time I watched any sort of sport by choice. I do love my VW, and I'm completely devoted to my friends. I'm a vegetarian you can eat whatever you want, it doesn't bother me. I like nostalgia, anything that reminds me of being a kid. I like hobbies, ever changing hobbies... I LOVE coffee, good coffee, bad coffee doesn't matter as long as it somewhat resembles coffee. It could be 1am and if you said wanna go get some coffee I'd say hell yeah, let's go get some freaking coffee! I like clouds in the night sky, crisp mornings that require a hoodie, the beach when no one else is there. I like animals of any kind. I love when chaos starts to make sense and the moment just before all control is lost. I don't like when people try too hard, I don't like perfection. I enjoy faults & quirks they make people special. I don't like this new Hollister styled vampire trend. I like my vampires to be romantic, dark and mysterious not sparkle and have stylish sneakers. Wow this is all random stuff. I open doors for women, old people, people with children, people with their hands full. If someones behind me I'll hold the door for them. I try to be as considerate as possible. I cuss like a sailor but not in front of my mom, your mom or children.

I've always called myself a "fringe person", an individual who looks at society from the very edges where the view is terrific. I look to find a woman willing to travel the same lustful, joyous road as I do -- a lady gladly willing to be my friend in public and my slave in private.

What am I looking for in a partner?

In the world at large, I enjoy being able to laugh at the foibles of the people and the things around me. So, you should be a woman who enjoys laughter. But,during private times together, my personality does become decidedly assertive and I enjoy being able to take full control. So, a woman who leans toward private submissiveness would be distinctly the most appealing.

I'm updating this for the first time in years, as it's taken me awhile to realize that I am not the girl I once was when I first wrote the last self-summary.

I'm 25 years old, with too many windows of opportunity surrounding me. I have a job that most would consider a career. I'm almost debt-free. I got over the whole "oh my gosh, I just HAVE to graduate sooner than my younger sister" phase and realized that life has different paths for everyone and mine is to take as long as it takes to get a degree. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up, but rock star is lingering in the back of my mind. I want kids eventually and won't be afraid to admit it. I am comfortable in my own skin, clothes, and surroundings and will change only for myself. I speak my mind and kiss away pain. I usually pay for the first date. I haven't taken a vacation in 13 years, and I'm going to Disney World in June...I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am. Wanna come along?

I just started a fire on top of my stove while attempting to boil water for hot chocolate. Such calamity is not atypical, so if you're looking for someone who is proficient in the kitchen, you should probably look elsewhere. That being said,

Okay my name is Ryan. I was born in Pa. i lived there for 14 years of my life. I come from a big family of Italians, which means I love to cook, especially Italian. I like to play sports of all kind. I used to play a lot while I was in school, from soccer to football and basketball. I am also currently in the State Guard, it is a lot of fun and I am learning a lot. I plan on being a police officer or firefighter, its a job that I have wanted to do since I was young kid.I like to play video games and mess around on my laptop.
